The after-school program was initiated with the sole vision of designing an atmosphere to prepare our children to grow into suitable global citizens of the future– an atmosphere which aimed to promote peer learning, embrace diversity, and encourage learning.
Originating from the concepts of Howard Gardner related to multiple intelligence, we understood that the teaching methods of our school had to cater to diverse minds. We understand that children think logically and would love to learn by using the method of touch and feel.
This realization led to the creation of the Kids Central which celebrates the diversity and designs a curriculum that caters to multiple intelligences. This has resulted in our children being able to discover and gain practical knowledge, and appreciate the world that we are part of.

Director Accounts
At The Ompee Schools, the accounts team handles the budget of the school. The team works on preparation and presentation of the school’s annual budget to the board. We look into the expenses and incomes and make sure the audit processes are in place. Every single staff in the finance department is supervised and trained.
The team at our school ensures all the required financial reports, tax reports are completed and filed on time. The management of the payroll and benefits is supervised by the finance and accounts department. We create financial models as you can find the list of schools in Gurgaon with fee structure on our site. It is required for capital campaigns as well as construction projects.
The contracts related to bus rentals, custodial work are constantly reviewed and negotiated by the team, to ensure our school gets the best contract. The finance team at our school is in charge of managing the insurable property records, the insurance claims, and does the required reporting.
As a Director, Mr. Rakesh Ghanghas supervises the general accounting for the internal and external funds of the school as well as ensure the cash management is in sync with the audit procedures. He is also in charge of the financial aid program and also works closely with the financial aid committee.

Mr. Virender is the business operations leader for a school, managing all non-instructional functions, services, and staff so that the instructional team can maintain a concentrated focus on teaching and student achievement and maximize instructional time.
He ensures that the school is managed with operational excellence and fiscal prudence by creating, refining and implementing policies and systems while upholding the values of Ompee Academies. The Director and his team work to create a culture of service and support in becoming the best Cambridge school in Gurgaon.
The Director Operations partners with the larger school leadership team to develop a school-wide culture of respect and achievement and a team culture grounded in common goals, mutual respect, empathy towards others, and an appreciation of diversity.

Senior Assistant Director
We at The Ompee Schools, truly believe that each child entrusted to us will receive education in its finest form. We are aware that learning is a lifelong process and, therefore, students are motivated to challenge their hidden potential. I believe that Education is a holistic experience that synergizes the growth of body, mind, and spirit.
Our Director, Mr. Yogender Hooda and Assistant Director (Jyotsna Sohanlal), desire to nurture and prepare generations of individuals as the torch-bearers of tomorrow, who believe in the strength of their convictions and take pride in being Indian. The curriculum at The Ompee Schools is dynamic and futuristic.
We have realized the need to implement technology in all areas of the functioning of the school. The key contribution of IT to education is that it can allow the student’s interests, needs, strengths, and weaknesses to drive the learning process, with the instructor facilitating rather than dictating.
At Ompee, we endeavor to empower our students with these new ways of education. In particular, we believe that IT is enabling the emergence of a new kind of pedagogy that is focused on meeting the individual needs of students. The school website is another step forward on an IT-enabled approach and marks a departure from the conventional pedagogy in which all students were treated more or less alike.
Jyotsna Sohanlal has 22 years of experience in the field of education, much of it in leadership positions in prominent schools in India and overseas. She brings considerable professional expertise to the role with hands-on experience in national and international education systems, having held the responsible position of Directress of Academics to a chain of Madhwani Schools in Uganda for a period of seven enriching years. Thereafter, she moved on to Kenya, Nairobi and took over the role of School In-charge of Lenana School.
Jyotsna is a gold medalist with a postgraduate degree in English Literature. She has successfully conducted training modules for staff in different international schools. Her extensive travels over the world have enabled her to visit schools in the UK, Europe, and Australia. These experiences have broadened her perspective of different systems and equipped her with skills to meet the demands and rising challenges in the field of education.
At present, she is in a leadership role at “The Ompee Schools –Manesar”. A veteran educationist for whom teaching has never been a profession; she is a born teacher for whom education has been a matter of faith, pride, and passion. She owes her disciplined dedication to education to her careful nurturing through convent education.
As a head of the school leadership team, Jyotsna has been responsible for strategic planning, including all operational and managerial functions of the school. She has successfully implemented a number of initiatives and changes in different areas of the school curriculum as guided by the British Council Team.
She has successfully completed eight professional development courses with the British Council and participated in the workshops held by them in and out of Delhi.

Dr. Ahlawat is the doctor of Ompee World School and is entrusted with taking responsibility for conducting examinations of the students regularly. Sick students are carefully examined by the doctor, and necessary steps are taken. Special attention and treatment are provided to students affected by infections, and they are segregated from the rest of the students. Dr. Ahlawat’s duties also involve preparing reports related to the physical development of every single student of our school and inspecting the environment of our school.
He takes care of inspecting the school dispensary and overseeing the work of the nurse to identify infectious diseases, prevent them, and create arrangements to treat underprivileged students.
Chef
Our school chef, Bichitra Maharana, has about 8 years of experience in the hotel management industry both in India as well as abroad. He has worked for The Park (Connaught Place), Hotel- Radisson Blu (Mahipalpur), DLF Clubs and in Miami as well.
His duties at Ompee World School include checking the freshness of food as well as ingredients, supervising and coordinating the activities of cooks and other workers and creating new recipes and deciding on the presentation. He also is in charge of the menu-planning and ensuring uniform meal portions are served and maintaining the quality.
Chef Maharana inspects the supplies, tools, equipment, and area of work for functionality as well as cleanliness and hygiene. We have selected the best chef for the rewarded position, we are able to stand at the top 10 international schools in Gurgaon.
In case of requirement of additional staff and chefs, he is in charge of the hiring and training process. He and his team ensure the inventory pertaining to food and supplies gets replenished as and when required. The Chef ensures that hygiene practices and safety standards are maintained and followed.
